How Are We Different?

The Experts in Fusion
Our director has multiple certifications in a range of fitness modalities, and has designed classes that provide a full-body workout. Our Fusion classes draw from the diverse disciplines of Pilates, Barre, Yoga and classic strength training.

Intelligent exercise
By emphasizing precision, form, and focus students develop a leaner, more toned body and a calmer, more relaxed mind.  

Small class sizes/personal attention
Limited capacity classes with encouraging instruction from highly trained teachers is our hallmark.

Individual apparatus
Our classes are unique in that each student has the use of their own personal "Tower". 

Our classes are designed to effectively strengthen, tone and balance the entire body. We offer fat burning workouts that integrate the use of the ballet barre, light weights and various props. Students will focus on form and precision while performing small isometric movements as instructors emphasize basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle actions. Each class includes several highly effective sequences of toning and resistance exercises with an emphasis on the core, arms, seat and thighs. Each strength section of this workout is followed by a stretching section to create long, lean muscle without bulk. These are challenging, no impact classes that require focus and precision for maximum results.

 Introduction to Barre & Tower 
A basic class focusing on the fundamentals of each exercise.  Students will become familiar with our work as they perform simple movements while being introduced to proper form.

 Open Level
This is a mixed level class. Clients will receive individual instruction based on their level of strength and development. Newcomers are welcome although an Intro class is required for those who are new to formal exercise.


A more advanced version of our  Barre Class using a wider variety of exercises and longer, more intense exercise sequences.  This class is suggested for those who have taken open level classes, have a solid grasp of the basic form and are interested in taking their work out to the next level. 

Tower Fusion
This class is essentially a combination of Barre and Pilates.  Traditional Barre exercises will be incorporated with some elements of the Pilates Tower and props for an innovative and challenging class. Core stability and focus is emphasized throughout as students learn new ways to work all those trouble spots with the benefit of the Tower to enhance strength and length!    

 Pilates Mat/Tower and Intro to Mat/Tower
By incorporating the use of the amazing Pilates Tower, you will gain length, strength, flexibility and musculo-skeletal control. This is a full body workout in which students will learn to work from the inside out to find a deeper connection to the core in a class that combines exercises on both the Tower and Mat. The work is performed using a combination of props, springs and bars to create additional resistance and/or assistance while performing the repertoire. The added resistance provided by tower springs encourages the development of strength and stability. This is a class that truly lengthens and strengthens the body like nothing else.

 Pilates Playground

This unique class combines standing balance work and fluid movement, followed by a more traditional Pilates protocol on the mat with the use of various Pilates props which include the foam roller, magic circle and the amazing Pilates Arc.
Jumpboard Reformer
This class is a fat-burning workout that gets your heart pounding and your trunk working hard in no time.  It's a fun, low impact, full body workout designed for anyone wanting to take that core training to the next level. (4 person sessions... require advanced signup)   

 Reformer/Chair/Tower/Barrels - Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced:

We offer sessions for all levels as privates, duets, trios and quads.  The Pilates Reformer is a versatile and completely unparalleled piece of fitness equipment that provides resistance and support for exercises involving the entire body. This comprehensive, alignment-based workout targets all major muscle groups from a stable core and provides precise feedback to each client for superior results. Reformer training addresses back pain by strengthening deep, structural core muscles and helps to educate clients about proper movement and form.

Reformer Chair/Mat
The Pilates Chair is arguably the most advanced piece of equipment Joe Pilates invented.  Combined with Classical Mat work on the floor, students will be challenged and motivated to work hard and make change in their bodies.  Join a 4 week intensive to learn the true meaning of core stabilization and control. 

 Cardio Tower Challenge
A cardiovascular fusion of barre technique, core conditioning and dance principles that includes more intensive exercise sequences at a quicker pace with challenging uses of the Tower and Props for strength and flexibility. Designed to keep your heart pumping, this class is for those looking to work at a slightly faster pace.  

   Reformer - Men 

These sessions are designed to improve all the "trouble areas" that men typically complain about in an amazing full body workout that emphasizes core stability and strength. The focus, intensity and challenge of these sessions allow participants to create lasting improvements to overall health and fitness levels. Improve your golf, tennis or skiing as you learn better overall movement patterns designed to transform the body to one of equal balance, strength and flexibility.

  Reformer for Teen Athletes  

Core stability, balance and flexibility are increasingly emphasized in sports conditioning and Pilates is simply the most comprehensive approach to core conditioning available today. The Pilates Reformer targets individual weaknesses and imbalances and helps to correct them in order to avoid injury and/or improve athletic and dance performance. Clinics are now being formed for a maximum of 4 participants. 

A challenging workout for athletes which incorporates popular music and props.  This is a fun and energizing class. Athletes will come to understand the role of deep core strength and flexibility in facilitating scapul and pelvic stabilization for safe, quality movement.  Mind body exercise is of significant value to the physical and mental development of athletes and the combination of Pilates and Barre training is an amazing addition to any sports conditioning program.  Small group pre-season training is also offered by request.
